Hospitality New Zealand is the voice of the hospitality industry that represents its members and the wider industry through our professional advocacy and lobbying on all industry issues affecting hospitality businesses.

Events and Networking

Upon joining you will automatically become a member of your local Branch and from time to time your Branch will hold informative seminars and meetings to keep you informed and up to date with local issues and best practices. Hospitality NZ hosts its annual conference in a different region every year so all members and hospitality business owners have the opportunity to attend a conference near by. Awards for Excellence Programme

The Awards for Excellence programme allows members from across the country to enter for free and be judged amongst the best. For many Award entrants, the accolades from peers and monetary value in winning an Award holds a value that no hospitality business can buy. The winners of Hospitality NZ's Awards for Excellence are announce at a prestigious black tie dinner sponsored by Lion. This is held every year as part of the annual conference programme.

Membership Communications

Hospitality New Zealand sends monthly communications to its members in the form of the printed ServiceLine newsletters or e-newsletters called E-Line.

ServiceLine is a professional printed newsletter that is designed to be a 10 minute read with functional information that will help our members with their businesses and to be aware of industry issues that Hospitality NZ is currently working on.

E-Line is a personalised e-newsletter offers members an alternative method of receiving relevant and recent industry information and issues, it has over 3,000 email subscribers.

A weekly update is also emailed to members as a reminder of what's happening in the upcoming weeks, allowing members time to take action on the information provided, if required.

Hospo Recruit - Recruitment Solutions

Hospo Recruit is Hospitality NZ's latest service that caters for the recruitment needs of members, and is designed to put the right people in your hands. Members can choose from different recruitment packages with special pricing for members. Labour Market Test (LMT) reports can also be generated for Immigration purposes when the position is offered to a person from overseas. Exclusive to Hospo Recruit is Hospitality NZ's Talent Pool where thousands of hospitality job seekers have registered their interest.
